Mozzarella Cheese-Stuffed Breadsticks

Using pizza dough and garlic butter, these cheesy breadsticks are golden brown delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted, divided
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  • Using a rolling pin or your hands, stretch the pizza dough into a 13x18" rectangle. Slice the dough into 3" strips.
  • Sprinkle a thin line of mozzarella cheese down the center of each dough strip. Carefully fold the dough over the cheese and press down to seal the seams. Gently roll each breadstick onto its seam. 
  • Transfer the unbaked breadsticks to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are laying seam side down.
  • Combine 4 Tbsp. of melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder and salt in a small bowl. Brush the unbaked breadsticks with the butter mixture.
  • Bake 16-17 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining 2 Tbsp. of melted butter. Serve warm.
