Homemade Garlic Knots

These fluffy, buttery, garlicky rolls are the best thing to happen to a bread basket!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz. prepared pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 Tbsp. unsalted butter divided
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into 10 short strips.
  • Tie a knot out of each dough strip and tuck the ends underneath the knot.
  • Grease an 8x8 baking dish or round cast iron pan with 1 Tbsp. of softened butter.
  • Arrange the dough knots in the pan, leaving space between them to allow for expansion. Bake 15-17 minutes, until golden brown.
  • While the knots are baking, melt the remaining 4 Tbsp. of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Stir in the garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning and salt.
  • Remove the knots from oven and brush with garlic butter. Serve warm.
