- Dijon mustard

How to Make a Turkey BLT Wrap
Make the Spread
The spread is super simple – just mix together the mayo and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Set it aside while you cook the bacon.
Cook the Bacon
Cook the bacon using your preferred method. Some people like the oven, but I recommend frying it in a nonstick pan for the most crispy results.
Prep the Veggies
Slice the tomato and shred the iceberg lettuce using a sharp knife or the large holes of a box grater.
Assemble the Wrap
Start by spreading the Dijon mayo onto the tortilla, leaving a small perimeter undressed.
Then, layer the turkey, cheese, tomato, bacon and lettuce. Be sure to leave a perimeter of about 1/2 inch around the tortilla without any of the ingredients.
Now, carefully roll up the tortilla, tucking the ingredients under if they start to bubble up. Roll as tightly as you can, and then give the wrap a gentle squeeze to meld all of the ingredients together once it’s wrapped up.
Slice the wrap into halves and enjoy!

Variations
- Healthy spinach turkey wrap: Swap in baby spinach for the iceberg lettuce for a boost in nutrients.
- Turkey ranch wraps: Spread ranch dressing over the tortilla before adding the turkey and vegetables.
- Greek-inspired wrap: Switch to feta cheese and hummus instead of the cheddar and Dijon mayo.
- Thanksgiving turkey wrap: Use leftover Thanksgiving turkey, cranberry sauce, baby spinach, and cream cheese.
- Avocado turkey wrap: Add creamy avocado for more healthy fats.
- Smoked turkey wrap: Substitute smoked turkey for regular deli turkey for a deeper, smoky flavor.

Make Ahead Instructions
Turkey wraps are perfect for meal prep because most of the ingredients can be prepared ahead of time.
Cook the bacon, shred the lettuce and slice the tomatoes in advance. Store each ingredient separately in the refrigerator.
When you’re ready to eat, assemble the tortilla wrap and roll it tightly. For the best texture, add ingredients like veggies and dressing just before serving.
If you’re preparing wraps for school lunches or several days of meals, assemble them as close to serving time as possible for the freshest results.

Storage Instructions
If you have leftover turkey wraps, wrap each one tightly in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
For the best texture, enjoy assembled wraps within 24 hours. Ingredients with a high water content like tomatoes and lettuce can soften the tortilla over time.

How Do You Keep a Turkey Wrap From Getting Soggy?
The key to keeping a turkey wrap from getting soggy is limiting moisture between the filling and tortilla.
Here are some simple tricks:
- Dry your vegetables well. Excess water from lettuce, baby spinach or tomatoes can quickly make a tortilla soggy.
- Don’t overdo the dressing. Ranch dressing, cranberry sauce, hummus and other spreads are delicious, but too much moisture can soften the wrap.
- Keep juicy ingredients in the middle. Place tomatoes and other wet ingredients between layers of turkey and lettuce rather than directly against the tortilla.
- Use crisp vegetables. Fresh, dry lettuce and peppers hold up better than watery vegetables.
- Wrap tightly. A tightly rolled tortilla helps keep the filling contained and prevents excess air and moisture from getting inside.
- Store it properly. Wrap the finished turkey wrap tightly in plastic wrap before placing it in an airtight container.
- Eat it the next day. For the freshest texture, turkey wraps are best enjoyed the same day or the next day.
