These golden brown Parmesan bites should come with a warning label!
They’re cheesy and salty with the perfect soft and chewy texture. If you’re looking for the perfect appetizer to please a hungry crowd, this is the one!
These Parmesan bites are super simple, just like the ones you can order from Domino’s pizza. Except better because we’re making them homemade!
With only 5 simple ingredients, they’re a great appetizer for game day, pizza night or whenever you’re in the mood for a little bread and cheese.
Ingredients for this Easy Parmesan Bites Recipe
It only takes 5 ingredients to create these simple Parmesan bread bites:
- Refrigerated pizza dough, the kind you can find in a tube at the grocery store.
- Parmesan cheese
- Butter
- Garlic powder
- Salt
How to Make Parmesan Bites
When you unwrap the pizza dough it will be in a long rectangle. Cut it down the middle vertically so that you have two long, skinnier rectangles.
Then, roll each rectangle into long ropes. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the ropes into bite sized pieces.
Now, set all the dough pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Before baking, brush the dough with a mixture of melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder and salt.
After you bake the bites, brush them a second time with melted butter. This is a crucial step!
Then, give the baked dough bites one last sprinkle of Parm. Sometimes I like to add a little dried parsley or Italian seasoning for color, but that’s optional.
How to Serve these Easy Parmesan Bites
These Parmesan bites are best enjoyed warm out of the oven, just like pizza. Also, just like pizza, they’ll be okay at room temperature but not as good.
