- 4 lbs. chicken wings
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, garlic power, salt, cayenne and paprika. Add the wings and toss to coat.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the wings for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Remove the wings from the refrigerator and arrange in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. (You may need to use more than one baking sheet.)
Bake the wings for 45 minutes. Transfer the wings to a large bowl.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Pour in the honey and hot sauce. Simmer until smooth, stirring.
Pour the hot honey mixture onto the wings and toss to coat. Enjoy warm.
