Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, garlic power, salt, cayenne and paprika. Add the wings and toss to coat.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the wings for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Remove the wings from the refrigerator and arrange in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. (You may need to use more than one baking sheet.)
  • Bake the wings for 45 minutes. Transfer the wings to a large bowl.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Pour in the honey and hot sauce. Simmer until smooth, stirring.
  • Pour the hot honey mixture onto the wings and toss to coat. Enjoy warm.
