Equipment

  • 1 14-16" round serving tray

Ingredients

  • 6-8 oz. sharp yellow cheddar cheese
  • 6-8 oz. white cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz. blueberry or cranberry wrapped goat cheese
  • 8 oz. camembert cheese
  • 6 oz. sliced salami, prosciutto or other charcuterie
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers
  • 2-3 cups green grapes
  • 2-3 cups blackberries
  • 1-2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 1/2 cup mini gherkins
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 2 Tbsp. blueberry, grape or cherry jam
  • plastic spiders
  • candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Arrange the charcuterie in a wavy line down the center of the serving board. Keep it in place by arranging other cheeses, fruit or crackers next to it.
  • Place the green olives and candy corn into small bowls and put them onto the board.
  • Freeze the goat cheese for 15-20 minutes. This will make it easier to slice. Once chilled, slice the goat cheese and carefully arrange it on the board. Cut the other cheese into wedges or cubes.
  • Use mini alphabet cookie cutters to make the word "BOO" out of yellow cheddar.
  • Fill in any negative space with berries and dried fruit. Spread the fruit jam over the top of the camembert cheese. Decorate with plastic spiders and candy eyeballs.
