Guinness Beer Cheese Dip

- 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 4 oz. cream cheese room temperature
- 12 oz. Guinness beer
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 garlic minced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in the garlic and flour. Cook until bubbling, about 1 minute.
Whisk in the beer, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, paprika, onion powder and salt.
Stir in the grated cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Bring the mixture a boil over high heat, whisking.
Reduce heat to low and simmer about 5 minutes, until thickened. Serve warm.
