Ingredients
  

Apple Filling

  • 6 large apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Crisp Topping

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose or gluten free flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice in a large bowl. Toss to coat the apples in the mixture.
  • Pour the apple filling into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the apple mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in the baking dish for at least 20 minutes before serving.
