Cinnamon Apple Crisp (No Oats Recipe)

Apple Filling
- 6 large apples peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Crisp Topping
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose or gluten free flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice in a large bowl. Toss to coat the apples in the mixture.
Pour the apple filling into the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the apple mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in the baking dish for at least 20 minutes before serving.
