How to Make French Batard Bread

You'll need:  Sourdough Starter Bread Flour Filtered Water Salt

Make the dough. Stretch it high... 

... and fold it over itself. Repeat 2 more times. 

Let the dough rise for 12-16 hours. 

Do another set of stretch and folds. 

Form the batard. Fold one long end into the center of the loaf.

Fold the other long end over to the other side.

Dust generously with bread flour.

Score the loaf and bake!

Let the batard cool on a wire rack. 

Slice and enjoy!
