What is a butter board?
By now, you’re living under a rock if you haven’t heard about the TikTok and Instagram viral trend called Butter Board. This trend has taken on a life of its own at this point.
The Butter Board trend started with plain old butter and has now morphed into cream cheese, flavored butters and even sweet versions with mascarpone cheese.
Toppings for butter boards can be sweet or savory and range from honey and pesto sauce to fruits, vegetables and nuts. Dippers can be simple toasted baguettes, crackers, breads, raw veggies and in this case – cookies.
The options are only as limited as your creativity!
How to build this Butter Board Recipe with Peanut Butter and Candy
This Butter Board Recipe with Peanut Butter and Candy is my favorite of all the butter boards, and definitely the most popular one I’ve made. Here is what you’ll need:
Use a marble, slate or wooden board as your canvas. Smear that peanut butter to your heart’s content.
Chop the candy into small pieces and sprinkle the pieces over the peanut butter. Do the same with the M&Ms.
Then, arrange the cookies all around the peanut butter and dig in!
